With more than 20 years of experience in small-animal medicine and surgery, Dr. Whitten is recognized for his thorough, compassionate approach to patient care. His clinical interests include gastroenterology, endocrinology, diagnostic medicine, clinical and anatomical pathology, working and service dog medicine, and senior pet health. He emphasizes accurate diagnostics, clear communication, and individualized treatment planning to support pets through every stage of life.
Outside of veterinary practice, Dr. Whitten enjoys mountain hiking, fishing the Florida flats, exploring music, and cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning.
