Dr. Diana Joyner-Mattox earned her Animal Science and DVM degrees from the University of Florida, graduating in 1995. In 1997, she opened her own small animal practice, which has since grown into a 3,600 sq-ft state-of-the-art facility.

Dr. Carolina Neves, fluent in three languages, specializes in surgery and dermatology and loves traveling, rowing, and time with her two cats and two dogs.

Devin, a USF graduate and veterinary technician since 2012, has been with San Antonio Animal Hospital since 2014 and enjoys family time, camping, and life with her husband, son, and two dogs.

Chas, originally from Colorado, is a Vet Tech student in Florida who loves animals, outdoor adventures, and time with her pets, church, and family.

Abby, a Dade City native and lifelong animal lover, is pursuing a degree in Psychology with hopes of opening a therapeutic riding center while enjoying life with her many pets and outdoor adventures.

We will strive to the best of our ability to have a friendly and caring environment in which we can create an atmosphere of trust between our staff and clients. We're pleased to provide a wide variety of veterinary services for animals in San Antonio, FL, and the surrounding areas of Wesley Chapel, New Tampa, Zephyrhills, Dade City, and Ridge Manor.  Our team is dedicated to providing the best care possible for your pets. In 2004 we were proudly certified by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) - only 15% of small animal hospitals achieve this accreditation. Our facility is equipped with an in-house laboratory, surgical and dental suites, digital X-ray, and ultrasound. This helps our doctors diagnose and treat most problems as quickly as possible. We also maintain excellent relationships with nearby specialists should your pet need a referral for specialized care.
