Diana Joyner-Mattox - Veterinarian
Dr. Diana Joyner-Mattox graduated from Zephyrhills High School in 1986 and then enrolled at Pasco Hernando Community College where she earned an Associate in Arts degree while working full-time as a veterinary assistant. Dr. Diana transferred to the University of Florida as a Junior and graduated in 1991 with a Bachelors degree in Animal Science, and continued on to earn her degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995.
In May of 1997 she started her own small animal practice in a small converted home with 1 employee. The practice has grown in leaps and bounds over the last 12 years and expanded into a new 3600 sq-foot state of the art facility in December of 2003.
Dr. Joyner-Mattox's family includes her husband Casey, stepdaughter Lynsey, two dogs, Hunter and Brandy, a colony of feral cats and three horses Gold, Roxy and Wilbur. In her free time she enjoys spending time at home, traveling, hiking, scuba diving, horseback riding and reading.
Dr. Joyner-Mattox is a member of the Pasco County Animal Services Advisory Committee, the Coalition for Animal Welfare, West Central Florida, she is Founder and President of Spay Pasco a non profit spay/neuter assistance organization and was awarded the Gold Star Award by the Florida Veterinary Medical Association for her animal welfare advocacy in Pasco County.
Jennifer Hooks - Veterinarian
Dr. Hooks was born and raised in Davie, Florida (near Fort Lauderdale). Her childhood included helping capture alligators with her father, a biologist and state licensed nuisance alligator trapper.
She attended the University of Florida where she obtained her Bachelor's in Science degree in Zoology in 2000 and her Veterinary Medical Degree in 2004.
Dr. Hooks resides in Dade City and is currently working on clearing land to build a log cabin. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her own animals, which include three cats, a rottweiler, and a pot-bellied pig. Additional interests include art, craftwork, gardening, travel, nature, and water sports. Her veterinary interests include all domestic animals, and she is developing her skills in the exotic and wildlife field.
Terri Readdy - Veterinarian
Dr. Terri Readdy earned her BS in Biotechnology and spent 9 years as a research scientist in protein and membrane biochemistry and natural insecticides in Philadelphia, then streptococcal genetics and microbiology in Birmingham. While in Birmingham she was an active volunteer with the Humane Society and the Alabama Wildlife Rescue Service before returning to school to earn her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State in 1999. After graduation, Dr. Readdy moved to the Tampa to begin her veterinary career. She is married and lives with her husband, 2 teenage sons, 2 dogs, 2 cats and 3 birds.
In her free time, Dr. Readdy enjoys spending time with her children, church activities and riding roller coasters!
She enjoys canine and feline veterinary medicine and has extensive experience in avian and exotic animal medicine and surgery.
Becky Jones - Practice Manager
Becky originally joined San Antonio Animal Hospital in 2006. She's a native of Massachusetts and now divides her time between Dade City and Cartersville, Georgia. Becky has an Master's Degree in Business Administration and is currently working on her PhD in Organizational Management. She shares her home with 4 dogs and 2 cats.
Paige Smith - Veterinary Technician
Paige has lived in Dade City all her life. Paige graduated from Pasco High School in 1999. During her High School years she was in Agriculture On the Job Training. In this program she worked at a horse stable, where she met her High School sweetheart, Kevin who is now her husband. They married in May of 2003 after dating four and a half years. He has a great career with WREC, working as a Lineman Apprentice. Their son, Peyton was born March 23, 2008
Paige worked at a small animal clinic in Zephyrhills, Florida. The two years she was there she learned a lot from the Doctors but wanted to work closer to home. Her sister Selena told her of a position that was available at what was then known as Veterinary Home Health Care. Paige took the position and has been a veterinarian Technician with what is now known as San Antonio Animal Hospital since July 2003, she says it is a great facility, an awesome staff and the Doctor's are good too. She also gets to enjoy working with her sister Selena that joined us in May of 2004.
Paige is currently enrolled at Pasco Hernando Community College and plans to enter their nursing program. Her goal is to be a nurse in a surgical unit.

Alisha Marler - Veterinary Technician
Alisha was born and raised in Dade City. She's married and the mother of 2 girls. Rounding out her household are 3 cats and 2 dogs.
In her spare time, Alisha enjoys volunteering at Pasco Elementary School, karate and baking cookies with her children.
Sandy Beyer - Veterinary Technician
Sandy was born and raised in Leesburg, Florida. She was a member of the Okahumpka 4-H for eleven years where she showed many swine and cattle.
After graduating from high school, Sandy attended Lake Sumter Community College for two years. She moved to Dade City to be with her fiance. They were married in 2007. She joined the San Antonio Animal Hospital team in February of 2006.
Sandy's enjoys riding four wheelers, fishing, and her job. Sandy has a pitbull named Cletus and a Chihuahua named October.
Alyssa Dugat - Client Care Specialist
Alyssa was born and raised near Houston Texas and moved to Florida in August of 2007. She enjoys the beach and lives in Brooksville with her husband and her Boxer Harley.
Valerie "Sioux" Isgett - Veterinary Technician
"Sioux" brings with her eleven years of experience as a Technician. Prior to becoming a Veterinary Technician she worked as a Pet Groomer. Sioux says she loves being a Technician and educating clients is her passion. As a volunter with the Humane Society in North Carolina, she realized the need to educate pet owners on the proper care of their pets to ensure they live healthy, happy lives. Favorite hobbies include gardening, hiking and canoeing. She considers herself fortunate to be a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay.
Carmen Trommater - Veterinary Assistant
Camille Joyner - Client Care Specialist
Camille was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, but has lived in Florida for 13 years. She is married and has three beautiful girls with her husband of ten years. Camille is a recent graduate from the University of South Florida receiving her B.S. in Exceptional Student Education. Her four legged friends include: Foxy, Jack and Danny.
